Landscape photography is one of the oldest, and most popular types of photography. Growing up admiring the photos in my father’s National Geographic collection, landscape photography quickly became the first art form I truly pursued. I remember being a child, driving through the White Mountains in New Hampshire, snapping photos out the window of the car with an old 35mm camera. I was trying my best to capture the fleeting images of the passing mountains, cliffsides, and bodies of water. Today, I have a slightly more controlled method, but admittedly, the urge to shoot from the window of a moving car still strikes me now and again.
